MULTAN: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL)Task Force raided and disconnected seven more connections on various violations.
One customer’s meter was found to be non-billing and was installed on which metre was disconnected and sent to the laboratory for further examination.
Three customers’ meters were found to have tampered index glasses. These meters were disconnected, and further departmental action was recommended.
Three consumers had meters installed far from the service line, causing leakage loss to the department. Their meters were disconnected to control UFG.
Extensions in five homes were removed due to the usage of gas in multiple homes.
The Task Force In-charge stated that controlling UFG was their main objective, and various areas with high UFG losses are being inspected. Targeted operations are yielding significant results.
