KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi has said that the national services and sacrifices of Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan are an unforgettable chapter in Pakistan’s history.
He said that Liaquat Ali Khan played a historic role alongside father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the Pakistan Movement.
The Sindh Governor said that Shaheed-e-Millat rendered invaluable services to strengthen the newly established state of Pakistan after independence.
He said that Liaquat Ali Khan’s political vision, principled leadership, and patriotism continue to serve as a guiding light for us.
Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi said that Shaheed-e-Millat struggled to promote national unity, strengthen the country and uphold democratic traditions under challenging circumstances.
The martyrdom of Liaquat Ali Khan was a great tragedy in the nation’s history and his services will always be remembered, he said adding that the life of Shaheed-e-Millat is a shining example of integrity, determination an
d dedication to national service.
The Sindh Governor said that this day reminds us to remain committed to the ideals and principles of our national leaders.
Hashmi said that unity, national responsibility, and the promotion of democratic values are essential for Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, and stability.
