Hyderabad: Sindhi Adabi Sangat celebrated Sindhi Adabi Sangat’s Day and Unity of Sindh. Renowned writer and former federal minister Madad Ali Sindhi presided over the event, While renowned writer columnist Mohammad Khan Abro, who connects all factions of the Sindhi literary society, participated as a special guest. The guest of honor at the event were eminent writers Taj Joyo, Adal Soomro, Dr. Mushtaq Phal, Shabnam Gul, Abida Ghangharu, Gul Bibi Shah and Ramzan Memon.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by the Secretary General of Sindhi Literary Society Sindh Ahmed Solangi.
The ceremony was started by Latif Saeed “Saror Sakhirani”. After him, poets, writers, social leaders and journalists from all over Sindh reiterated their support for Sindh and Sindhi Literary Society.
During his presidential address, Madad Ali Sindhi said that Sindhi Literary Society is the protector of the literature, language and culture of Sindh. She said that Sindhi Sangat should serve literature We will keep the Sindhi language alive in the digital age. Adal Soomro said that the literary history of Sindh is an important chapter. We all have to activate our branches As literature reaches village to village. Dr. Mushtaq Phal said that it is a pleasure to see all the writers together today, there is a need for research in Sindhi literature.
Organized research workshops for Sangat youth so that new literature can be created. Shabnam Gul said that literature is incomplete without women’s literary contribution. I am proud that the Sindhi Literary Society is bringing women forward. Abida Ghangharu said that I am knowledgeable about the Sindhi language, I have organized story and poetry competitions for children in Sangat schools so that the new generation will love their language. Gul Bibi Shah said that Sindhi Literary Society, which is a platform, is the best school for the women of Sindh, where it is easy to learn how to write. Ramzan Memon said that the day of unity is the day of unity. We are all one and serving Sindhi literature is our common mission. Azad Anwar Kandhari, Azam Bhatti and others also addressed the event.
