Khanewal:The provincial government announced six additional green electric buses for residents of the district, official source said.
They would be put into operation on the Khanewal-Qadirpur Raan route.
The new buses will provide modern, comfortable and environment-friendly transport facilities to commuters and improve public transport connectivity between Khanewal city and Qadirpur Raan.
A total of 23 stops have been designated on Route No. 3 of the green electric bus service.
Earlier, nine green electric buses were operating on the Khanewal-Kabirwala and Khanewal-Jahanian routes, it’s said.
Deputy Commissioner Hina Arshad and Additional Deputy Commissioner Social Services Munawar Kamalna visited the charging station to review the arrangements.
