Faisalabad: Six members of a family including a five-year-old girl were hospitalised after consuming contaminated milk in the area of Dijkot police station.
Rescue 1122 spokesman said here on Sunday that a family in Chak No.255-RB Nawan Pind drank milk and started feeling dilapidated condition.
Receiving information, Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the victims to Rural Health Center (RHC) Dijkot after providing them first aid.
They included 44-year-old Ramzan, 65-year-old Almas Bibi, 26-year-old Naveed, 32-year-old Idrees, 5-year-old Harm Fatima and 40-year-old Shahida.
The family members told rescuers that a lizard had fallen into the milk before it was consumed.
The doctors started providing intensive care treatment to affected persons but their condition is stated to be critical, the spokesman added.
