Lahore:Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabeel Javed chaired an important meeting regarding the digitalisation of various villages in Lahore.
Commissioner Lahore Zaid-bin-Maqsood, Deputy Commissioner Syed Moosa Raza, and DG PLRA Ikram-ul-Haq and other officials attended the meeting.
During the briefing, DG PLRA Ikram-ul-Haq informed the SMBR that the digitization process of 8 out of 142 villages in Lahore has been completed, with official notifications already issued. Additionally, the record scanning of 38 villages has been completed and sent to the land centers and Patwaris for verification. The record correction for another 7 villages is also finalized, with notifications to be issued in the coming days.
The completed digitization projects include the villages of Chak Kot Begum, Hernain Pura, Rajgarh, Arazi Sajpal, Davisabad, Lahore Khas, Qila Khazana, and Ghandi Khushhal Singh.
SMBR Nabeel Javed emphasized the swift completion of the digitization process for all villages in Lahore for public conv
enience. To this end, a committee consisting of the Commissioner Lahore, DC Lahore, and DG PLRA has been formed to establish timelines for each phase of the process. The committee will ensure the timely completion of record corrections within 40 days.
Javed further stated that no leniency will be shown towards officers or staff who attempt to delay the digitization process.
