FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence has seized smuggled items worth Rs.230 million from Faisalabad range during September 2023.
Customs Inspector Mansoor Nasir while talking to reporter here on Tuesday said that customs intelligence teams were actively taking action against smugglers to curb the mal-trend of smuggling of various items without paying customs duties and taxes.
He said that the customs intelligence teams conducted 7 raids and seized the smuggled items which had the market value of Rs.230.057 million.
Hence the Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Customs Range Faisalabad succeeded in recovering Rs.158.45 million from the accused under the head of customs duties and taxes during last one month, he added.
