Lahore: An important review meeting was held at the Head Office under the chair of Commissioner Punjab Social Security, Zulfiqar Ali Kharal, in which the performance of Lahore Gulberg, South, Model Town, City and Shahdara Directorates was reviewed in detail.
The meeting was attended by the concerned Directors and Deputy Directors.
During the meeting, the process of biometric verification of Ration Cards, Social Security contribution and recovery targets of the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund were also reviewed.
The Commissioner was briefed about the recovery targets of the concerned Directorates and the progress achieved so far.
A briefing was also given on the measures being taken to increase the number of workers and their registration.
Commissioner Punjab Social Security Zulfiqar Ali Kharal directed that field-level measures for increasing workers’ registration should be made more effective and all available resources should be utilised.
Commissioner Punjab Social Security Zulfiqar Ali Kharal said that the targets for recovery of Social Security contributions must be ensured at all costs. He directed field officers to make all-out efforts to achieve the targets for recovery and workers registration.
