Faisalabad:A students’ delegation from tehsil Samundri visited Lyallpur Museum here on Friday.
They took keen interest in historical and cultural artifacts displayed in 10 galleries of the museum.
Media Manager Shahnaz Mahmood told the students that the museum was a great platform for research work for them and played an important role in bridging different civilizations. The students were also informed about the history of Sandal Bar and Faisalabad, the third biggest city of the country. The students were also briefed about the history from Pakki Marri to Chenab Colony and Lyallpur to Faisalabad, the first historical building ‘Gumti and Qaisri Darwaza’.
