Successful Liver Transplant at Gambat Hospital, Recovered Patients Thank Dr. Rahim Bux Bhatti at Sukkur Press Club


Sukkur: After a successful liver transplant at the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) Hospital, the recovered patients, an uncle and his nephew from Ghotki reached the Sukkur Press Club on Saturday where they thanked the hospital administration, doctors, and especially the Director of GIMS, Dr. Rahim Bux Bhatti.



Talking to the media at the Sukkur Press Club, Liaquat Ali Gabol, who recovered from liver disease, said that he was admitted to Gambat Hospital last month for a liver transplant. During this time, his nephew donated a part of his own liver to him, after which specialist doctors at Gambat Hospital, led by Dr. Abdul Wahab Dogar, performed a successful operation and saved his life.



Liaquat Ali Gabol said that, Alhamdulillah, both he and his nephew have now fully recovered and are living a normal life. Appreciating the medical facilities and cooperation provided by the doctors and administration of Gambat Hospital, he said that the hospital staff extended full cooperation in difficult times.



On this occasion, relatives accompanying the patient said that this complex liver transplant operation was performed free of cost, while after the operation, the condition of both patients is improving and they are recovering completely.



They specially thanked the administration of Gambat Hospital and Director Rahim Bux Bhatti, saying that the hospital provided full cooperation to the patients and their families. They said that unjustified rumours are being spread about Gambat Hospital by certain quarters and attempts are being made to defame the institution.



They said that they themselves witnessed the full cooperation of the administration and medical staff at Gambat Hospital, so the public should not pay attention to baseless rumours.



According to them, some miscreants are making allegations and negative propaganda against the hospital for their personal interests, which the public should not heed.



The patient and his family paid tribute to the doctors and administration of Gambat Hospital for the successful treatment and liver transplant, saying that such medical facilities are giving hope and a new lease of life not only to patients from Sindh but from all over the country.
