Hyderabad: District Police in a significant development in the case of martyrdom of Police Constable Muhammad Hassan Khoso, said that all three suspects involved in murder have now been brought to justice.
According to the police spokesperson, the incident occurred on August 6, 2026, when unidentified assailants opened fire and killed Constable Muhammad Hassan Khoso in the line of duty.
Following the incident, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shaheed Benazirabad, Dr.Sumeer Noor Channa, took immediate notice and constituted a special team to ensure the swift arrest of those responsible. Police continued conducting raids at various locations and intensified efforts to apprehend the suspects.
Investigations revealed that three individuals were involved in the killing police constable. One suspect, identified as Gulab Shah, was killed in a police encounter, while another accused, Jalal, son of Wazir Khoso and a resident of village Long Khan Khoso in Qazi Ahmed, had already been arrested.
The third suspect, Zulfiqar Ali alias Mowali, son of Suleman Mari and a resident of village Ali Khan Mari in Taluka Sakrand, had been absconding since the incident. Police officials said that due to continuous raids and mounting pressure, Zulfiqar Ali alias Mowali surrendered before a court and was subsequently taken into custody.
According to police records, the suspect is a habitual and hardened criminal with multiple serious cases registered against him and was wanted by law enforcement authorities. Police have formally arrested the accused and initiated further investigation.
SSP Dr. Sumeer Noor Channa said that the blood of martyrs would not go in vain and that criminals involved in the killing of police constable have been brought to justice.
