LAHORE: Three unidentified suspects reportedly opened firing at a traffic warden for stopping them over violation in Samanabad, here on Tuesday.
Traffic warden Sardar was on duty when he signalled to stop three motorcyclists for violation. The suspects exchanged harsh words and opened firing at the warden and fled from the scene.
The warden remained unhurt.
A case has been registered against the accused persons.
CTO Lahore Ammara Athar has said that the offenders will be arrested soon and dealt strictly according to law.
