FAISALABAD:Khurarianwala police have arrested a swindler on charge of extorting money from people under the garb of redressal of their grievances.
Police spokesman said here on Tuesday that the police received complaints that a swindler who had dubbed himself as Baba Taj Bengali had extorted money from the area people under the garb of redressal of the domestic grievances through ‘Taveez and Jadoo’.
Therefore, a police team arrested the accused who was later on identified as Abid Ali and locked him behind bars for further investigation, spokesman added.
