TANK:Additional Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Irfan Khan, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Tank Jamshed Khan, inspected Tank Traffic Point, Durand Gate and Budh Mandi Bazaar to review market conditions.
During the visit, he checked chicken shops, butcher shops and grocery stores for compliance with official price lists, cleanliness and food quality. Shopkeepers were directed to ensure the sale of essential commodities at prescribed rates and maintain proper hygiene standards.
The official also removed vendors and temporary encroachments to keep public passageways clear, warning shopkeepers against occupying public spaces and directing them to comply with administrative instructions.
The district administration said inspections and enforcement actions would continue, with legal action against violators.
