Quetta: The Balochistan government has launched a Technical and Digital Skills Training Program under the Chief Minister Employment Program to equip youth with modern technical and digital expertise. In the first phase, 500 young men and women from across the province will undergo three months of training, with the overall target set at 1,000 trainees.
According to officials, the inaugural batch includes 400 male and 100 female candidates. Training modules cover sales and marketing, digital marketing, web development, and cybersecurity, aimed at preparing participants for employment, entrepreneurship, and freelancing opportunities. Graduates will have access to jobs in software houses, IT firms, online marketing companies, and roles in IT security, data management, media, and public relations across both public and private sectors.
The program also encourages youth to pursue independent ventures through online businesses, digital agencies, and freelancing, enabling them to become part of the modern digital economy.
