ABBOTTABAD:Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Hameedullah Khan has directed the authorities concerned to ensure timely completion of the Thandiani Road expansion project under the KITE Project in accordance with prescribed quality standards.
He issued these directives while chairing a meeting to review the progress of the road construction project. The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning, Assistant Commissioner Headquarters, members of the KITE team, a representative of the Communication and Works (CandW) Department and other officials.
The meeting discussed concerns raised by local residents regarding the construction work, quality standards, and timely completion of the project.
The deputy commissioner directed the relevant officials to take effective measures to resolve the problems faced by residents during construction and ensure that the work proceeded according to the approved standards and schedule.
He emphasized that early completion of the project was essential to providing better travel facilities to the public and addressing local issues. He also instructed the authorities to regularly monitor the project’s progress and maintain the quality of construction work.
