LAHORE:Police arrested three suspects allegedly involved in the illegal kite trade and seized 1,500 kites during separate operations in Bhatti Gate, Rang Mahal and Tibbi City areas.
According to police, Bhatti Gate police recovered 700 kites, Tibbi City police seized 500, while Rang Mahal police recovered 200 kites.
The arrested suspects were identified as Abdul Qayyum, Faisal and Hassan, who were allegedly involved in buying and selling kites despite the ban.
SP City said the suspects used rickshaws and carton boxes to transport and deliver kites.
Further legal proceedings against the arrested suspects were underway.
