RAWALPINDI: The Organized Crime Cell has arrested three car lifters and recovered three stolen vehicles from their possession, said a police spokesman here on Tuesday.
He informed that the Crime Cell of Rawalpindi District Police managed to net three car lifters named Amir, the ringleader, Nayyar Ali, and Owais Rashid involved in stealing vehicles from different areas.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing vehicles from different areas, the police said adding that they were members of a gang operating in Rawalpindi and adjoining areas.
The police recovered three stolen vehicles from their possession. The accused also disclosed the identification and whereabouts of their other accomplices, and efforts are in progress to trace and arrest them, he said.
