Gujrat: Police arrested three alleged drug peddlers and recovered more than one kilogram of hashish and 20 litres of liquor from their possession during an operation in Lalamusa. According to a police source, the operation was conducted on the directions of District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Faisal Shahzad under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Lalamusa Mumtaz Maken.
A team of City Lalamusa Police, headed by Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Nasir Mahmood, arrested the suspects identified as Attaullah Waqar, Yasir Ahmed and Asadullah.
Cases were registered against the arrested suspects, and further investigation was underway.
