Faisalabad: City Jaranwala police resolved a house burglary case with the arrest of a three-member gang on charge of stealing Rs2.17 million and 5.5 tolas of gold. Police spokesman said on Tuesday that SHO City Jaranwala police station Muzaffar Ali led the operation and arrested three members of a gang, including ringleader Shahzad along with his accomplices Umar Daraz and Zain as they were wanted to the police in a theft case. The accused reportedly broke into the residence of Muhammad Naeem and made off with Rs 2.17 million in cash and 5.5 tolas of gold along with other valuables. The accused were locked behind bars while further investigation was underway, he added.
