FAISALABAD: A trader was shot dead by robbers for putting up resistance, in the precincts of Thikriwala police station on Thursday. Police said that Bilal, resident of Chak No.78-JB Jawaddi was riding a motorcycle when bandits intercepted him on Painsara-Dijkot Road and tried to snatch moneyand other valuable from him. Bilal resisted their bid of robbery when outlaws shot at and killed him.
The police took body into custody and shifted him to mortuary for postmortem.Further investigation was underway.
