District

MULTAN:City Traffic Police (CTP) Multan has intensified enforcement against over-speeding and other traffic violations, deploying additional personnel at night to prevent road accidents and ensure safer travel for citizens.

Acting on the directions of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar, traffic personnel are conducting vehicle checks and closely monitoring violations across the city, with legal action being taken against offenders to maintain traffic discipline and protect lives and property.

The City Traffic Police has urged motorists to immediately remove illegal black paper from vehicle windows, avoid unauthorised police lights and dangerously bright headlights, and observe prescribed speed limits.

Parents have also been advised to educate their children about traffic rules and discourage them from going out unnecessarily after 11pm to minimise their exposure to potential risks and road accidents.

CTO Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar said compliance with traffic laws was essential for protecting human lives and property, adding that enforcement against violations would continue. He stressed that public cooperation was vital to establishing a safe and disciplined traffic system.

The City Traffic Police appealed to citizens to adopt responsible driving habits, follow traffic regulations and play their part in making roads safer for all.
