LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with the
livestock department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the project ‘Livelihood Improvement through
Livestock Development’ organised a five-day training course.
The course titled ‘Advanced Reproductive Techniques & Management in Animals’ for in service veterinary officers of Livestock Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Hazara division was held
here at veterinary academy.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad chaired the concluding ceremony on Monday and distributed
certificates among the participants while Director Veterinary Academy Dr Muhammad Ikram and 10 others were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad said the main objective of the training was to work together with the livestock farming community for enhancing of their profitability. He added KP Hazara
division had huge potential in the areas of poultry, dairy and meat sector to strengthen the livestock sector.
