RAWALPINDI: A one-day training session was organized at the Livestock Department Rawalpindi to guide the officials and farmers about cultivation of Pearl Millets (Bajra) Napier Hybrid.
Asad Abbas Khan Research Officer and Mr Mohammad Sadaqat Veterinary Assistant from Barani Livestock Production Research Institute, Kheri Murt informed the audience about the nutritional value of Millet Napier hybrid and its role in animal feed.
They also presented a practical example to the attendees about the method of cultivation of Millet Napier hybrid so that the farmer could learn the cultivation of Millet Napier hybrid in a better way.
Additional Director of Livestock, Rawalpindi,Dr Mutee-Ul-Salam, Deputy Director Dr Sadia , Dr Faheem Tariq ,Dr Sadia Mustafa Veterinary Officer, Qasim Awan and other officials also participated in the session.
