KOHAT: Food Safety Authority (FSA) taking notice of public complaints Wednesday sealed two ice-cream factories and discarded huge quantity of substandard ice-cream.
The spokesman of FSA said that Deputy Director Kohat Asad Qasim along with his team conducted a raid on two ice-cream factories and founded that substandard ice-cream was being prepared and packed in the name of an international ice-cream brand.
The official took immediate action and sealed the factories while substandard ice-cream was discarded. The team of FSA issued heavy fine to the owners of the two factories under Food Safety Act.
