MULTAN:Two labourers sustained injuries when the roof of a room in an under-construction house collapsed on Dunyapur road near Gulzar Pur on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the roof, constructed with girders and T-iron suddenly caved in during construction work.
Local residents pulled both labourers out of the debris before the arrival of rescue personnel. The Rescue 1122 team reached the site promptly and provided first aid to the injured.
The injured were identified as Muhammad Owais(26), son of Muhammad Iqbal and Mithu Khan(46), son of Sawar Khan.
Both sustained head injuries and were shifted to Nishtar hospital after receiving initial medical treatment at the scene.
Rescue 1122 completed its operation after providing emergency assistance and shifting the injured labourers to the hospital.
