MULTAN: Two matches were decided in inter-district Hockey League poll-B here on Tuesday.
In girrls match played at Government Moonlite Higher Secondary School, Multan Mushaik won by 3-0 goals from Khanewal Khatarnak.
In boys match of poll-B, played at Govt Jama ul Aloom High School, Khanewal beat Multan by 3-0.
The league is being organized by School Education Department, South Punjab.
Inter-district Hockey League to be played among students from public high and higher secondary schools, registered private educational institutions and seminary up to the second year in 11 districts of South Punjab began from October 10 in Multan and Bahawalpur.
Poll-B matches are being played in Bahawalpur.
The teams of 11 districts of South Punjab, ‘Mushaik of Multan’, ‘Baraq of Bahawalpur ‘, ‘Ghazi of Dera Ghazi Khan’, ‘Khatarnak of Khanewal’, ‘Yaraan of Rahim Yar Khan’, ‘Nadur of Muzaffargarh’ ‘, ‘Vehari Ke Khilari’, ‘Bahawalnagar Ke Barak raftar , ‘Layyah Ke Lajpal’, ‘Lodhran Ke Jawan’ and ‘Rajanpur Ke Rustam’ are contesting in the league.
