PESHAWAR: Shah Qabool police under the supervision of SP City, Tayyeb Jan on Monday arrested two notorious target killers from the jurisdiction of Shah Qabool police station.
SP City, Tayyeb Jan told media persons that the target killers identified as Asad Ullah and Sameer were present in the Dabgari Garden area in armed position with a plan to kill the X-ray machine engineer, Murtaza Ali Bangash.
Tayyeb said the target killer Asadullah belonged to the Ghalgo area of Orakzai district while Sameer belonged to the Ali Masjid area of the Khyber district.
He said both the target killers were arrested before they could achieve their target. During initial interrogation, he said both had confessed to the planning to kill engineer Murtaza Ali Bangash for uncertain reasons.
SP City said the target killers earlier in the month of February had shot and injured Murtaza Ali Bangash in the vicinity of Chamkani police station and a case had been registered against them at the police station.
During the action, he said an unregistered Honda motorcycle, two pistols and scores of cartridges were recovered from the target killers. A case has been registered against them.
