Multan: Two robbers were injured by their own accomplices during an encounter
with police on Thursday. A team of the Crime Control Department (CCD) was patrolling Bahawalpur Road when they spotted three suspects on two motorcycles. The officials signaled the suspects to stop but they opened firing on them. Two of the suspects were injured in the exchange of fire who were identified as Amir Hamza and Shahbaz. The police recovered a pistol and a motorbike from the scene. The rescue teams arrived and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital while the third accused fled.
