MUZAFFARGARH:District administration imposed fine Rs 100,000 on two departmental stores on charges of profiteering in Muzaffargarh.
According to official sources, Assistant Commissioner Nasir Shehzad Dogar inspected two departmental stores including Iqra Shopping Centre and Dil Pasand and the both stores were selling pulses against exorbitant prices.
He imposed fine Rs 50,000 on each store.
The assistant commissioner also urged citizens to identify the shopping malls which were causing artificial inflation.
The administration would take strict action against such stores, he categorically stated.
