Lahore: Two suspects have been arrested for harassing a woman who had stepped out for work; the incident involved a safe environment for women and a prompt response to harassment.
According to the police, the suspects, traveling in a vehicle, blocked the woman’s path and made lewd remarks.
The suspects also pursued female who is official of the Safe City Authority, and was traveling on a bus.
Acting swiftly on the woman’s report, the Lytton Road police traced the suspects’ vehicle. Both individuals were arrested in Johar Town. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
The suspects have been identified as Ali Imran and Musharraf, police said that effective measures to be ensured for the safety of women.
