PESHAWAR:Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Shafiullah Khan on Friday inaugurated Typhoid vaccination campaign started with the support of KP Health Department.
The vaccination campaign will continue from 3rd to 15th October with the support of the Health Department under the supervision of district administration Peshawar.
During this campaign, 896,724 children between the ages of 9 months and 15 years will be vaccinated against typhoid in 52 urban union councils of Peshawar.
A total of 633 outreach teams, 82 fixed teams and 30 mobile teams have been formed for this campaign to be supervised supervised by 144 first level supervisors and 51 medical officers while district administration and Health Department will also monitor the campaign.
Deputy Commissioner requested parents to cooperate with teams by vaccinating their children to keep them safe from typhoid virus.
