FAISALABAD:The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and EPTeck Technologies Pvt Limited have inked a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in the areas of academia and research.
The MoU was duly inked by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan and EPTeck Technologies CEO Engineer Khalil Ahmed Rashid.
Both parties agreed to work jointly on capacity building, faculty, and staff development programs; exchange of students and staff; exchange of academic information and materials, coordination in curriculum development; coordination in joint or collaborative research projects; organize joint symposia seminars, workshops and conference.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the UAF mission was to lead the change through outstanding achievement in learning, discovery and community services with a special focus on agriculture and rural development. He said that the country was enduring the different challenges in the agriculture sector. “For which, we have to adopt the latest agriculture practices and develop the sector on scientific bases,” he added.
Engineer Khalil Ahmed Rashid called for making the joint efforts for knowledge based economy.
Director External Linkages Prof Dr Waseem Akram, Prof Dr Khalid Mushtaq, EPTeck Technologies Director Amir Zahoor and Saleem Akhtar also attended the meeting.
