Multan: Commissioner Multan Aamir Karim Khan has called upon private institutions to contribute to the promotion of education through modern technological facilities,stressing that the use of digital tools was essential for improving the quality of education.
He was speaking at an MoU signing ceremony at Multan Public School and College,where United Bank Limited(UBL), under its corporate social responsibility initiative, provided 16 modern digital boards to the institution.
The commissioner said the digital boards would enable teachers to explain lessons more effectively and help students understand complex concepts through modern and interactive teaching methods.
He appreciated UBL’s contribution, saying the initiative would help create a technology-enabled learning environment and make the educational process more effective.
Aamir Karim Khan said modern digital facilities would equip students with the skills needed to meet the demands of the technology-driven era.
He urged other banks and organizations to play their role in strengthening educational institutions by providing modern learning facilities.
Under the MoU,cooperation would also cover banking facilities for employees,cash management and promotion of digital learning.
Additional Commissioner Shahid Joya, noted industrialist Hussain Fazal, UBL officials and Multan Public School Principal Uzma Khan attended the ceremony.
Later, the commissioner visited a classroom, witnessed a demonstration of the digital board and interacted with students.
