LAHORE:University of Engineering and Technology (UET) on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Total Parco Pakistan Ltd here at UET to promote academia and industry relationship.
According to spokesperson for UET here, the UET would provide Total Parco with image building and marketing opportunities at its campuses while Total Parco would organize training workshops, seminars, industrial study tours and conferences for university students, faculty members and employees.
Apart from internship programs, Total Parco would also provide employment opportunities to university students. Similarly, Total Parco would be obliged to provide its services to the final year university students to help them in their final projects.
The agreement was signed for a two-year renewable period, which was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar on behalf of UET, while Chief Operating Officer of Total Parco, Mehmet Celepoglu signed on behalf of the Total Parco.
