LAHORE:A girl student of the Unique Group of Institutions (UGI), Ainannoor, has won an Inter-Institutions Kalam-e-Iqbal singing contest. Students from 20 educational institutions participated in the event.
Those reaching the final round of the contest were students of Lahore College for Women University, Samanabad Girls College, Cooper Road College for Women, Iqra Huffaz College and Fatima Jinnah College for Women, Choona Mandi, Lahore.
Congratulating Ainannoor over his victory in the contest, UGI Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan Khurram said the Unique Group had always focused on curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities of its students to groom them well and polish their creative abilities. He said that students were made part of all activities, carried out in accordance with Allama Iqbal’s philosophy and message.
UGI Director Prof Wasim Anwar Chaudhry and head of Admin & Promotions Prof Riazul Haq also attended the meeting of the winning student with the UGI chairman.
