MUZAFFARGARH: An unknown wild animal or predator attacked and killed six animals worth lakhs of rupees in chowk Sarwar Shaheed area.
A citizen named Waheed Raza, a resident of 5 Marla scheme of Chowk Sarwar Shaheed put an application with city police in which he said that he got up early in the morning and went to cattle pen for the purpose of tying the cattle out of it. An unknown wild animal or something killed all his cattle by stabbing them in the neck and ripping open their stomachs.
The mysterious death of cattle has scared all the cattle farmers in the area.
The victim, Waheed Raza, along with Anwar, Ajmal, Muhammad Sharif, Malik Liaquat, Mujahid Hussain and several other cattle rearing farmers, demanded Deputy Commissioner, DPO and the Wildlife department to take notice of the issue and early killing of wild animal to avert further loss.
