Sialkot: The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sialkot (USKT) organized
Open House 2026, showcasing its academic programmes, research activities, student projects, innovation initiatives and emerging career opportunities.
The event provided prospective students, students, alumni and faculty members with an opportunity to explore the department’s academic offerings and research work. Particular focus was placed on the scope of BS Mathematics with Artificial Intelligence (AI).
MS Mathematics students presented their research models, highlighting the application of mathematical concepts to contemporary academic and technological challenges. The event also featured meaningful interaction among faculty members, alumni, current students and prospective students.
The Open House highlighted the growing relevance of Mathematics integrated with AI in emerging fields, including data analytics, machine learning, mathematical modelling, technology, finance and computational sciences.
The event reflected USKT’s efforts to equip students with modern, future-oriented skills and provide them with opportunities to pursue careers in mathematics, artificial intelligence and related fields.
