SARGODHA:The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) claimed on Saturday to have destroyed vegetables grown by using sewage.
According to PFA sources, a team with a tractor visited Iqbal Colony and Hussainabad and destroyed bitter gourds grown over 32 kanal land by using sewage.
PFA Deputy Director Operation Shahbaz Sarwar said the cultivation of vegetables with sewage was not allowed and strict action would be taken against farmers on violations.
