Wapda Hydro Union demands for new grid stations in Hazara

District

ABBOTTABAD:Chairman WAPDA Hydro Electric Union Hazara region Jamil Akhtar Tanoli on Saturday demanded the immediate establishment of three new grid stations in the Hazara region.

Jameel Tanoli stressed the urgent necessity of creating new grid stations in areas including Shimla Hill Dubathar Grid, Hattar Industrial Phase 7 grid and Manshera Bakrial City Grid station.

Tanoli pointed out that separating electrical grids in locations such as Abbottabad, Malakpurah, Governor House, Shimla Hill, Jabriyan, and Dubathar would help alleviate the electrical load and reduce the burden on the existing grid infrastructure.

He emphasized that in Abbottabad, there is currently an overloaded 26 MVA transformer at the 132 KV grid station, which urgently requires upgrading to 40 MVA.
