According to the Meteorological Department, the intensity of the cold will increase in the coming days, and a slight change in the weather will be seen after a week. The wind in the city is blowing at a speed of 3 kilometers per hour, and the humidity in the air is 72 percent. A severe cold wave had confined citizens to their homes across the country, including Lahore. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain and snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan and adjoining areas. Doctors in Lahore advised citizens to take precautions during cold and foggy weather to prevent a surge in seasonal illnesses like flu, chest infections, and pneumonia.
