RAWALPINDI:A district and sessions court on Wednesday gave death sentence to a murderer for killing his wife.
According to Airport Police Station, accused Iftikhar had killed his wife over a family dispute.
After recording witnesses from both sides, the court also imposed a fine of Rs 500,000 on the convict.
Meanwhile, another district and sessions court sentenced accused Amir Arif for nine years’ imprisonment in a drug smuggling case.
The convict was arrested by the Race Course Police with 1,400 grams of hashish.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 80,000 on the convict.
