SARGODHA:A woman was tortured by her husband here at Chak No.118 SB in the jurisdiction of Sillanwali police station on Sunday.
Police said that Parveen of Asiaanwala Bangla and Abdul Ghaffar of Chak No.118 SB had married seven years ago. On the day of the incident, Abdul Ghaffar beat his wife with an iron rod and broke her legs over a domestic issue. Rescue 1122 teams and police reached the spot and shifted her to DHQ Hospital Sargodha where her condition was said to be critical.
