Khanewal: A woman was killed after being struck by a passenger train near The British School in Mian Channu, Khanewal district here on Thursday.
According to Rescue 1122, the woman, identified as Kausar,50, was hit by the Shalimar Express traveling from Lahore to Karachi. Upon receiving the information, Rescue 1122 personnel reached the scene
Rescue officials said the woman was reportedly mentally impaired. After completing the necessary procedures, the body was handed over to the police for further medico-legal proceedings.
