KARACHI:Workers’ remittances figured at $2.1 billion on November 22.
During Nov 2022, remittances decreased by 4.8 percent on month-on-month basis and by 14.3 percent on year-on-year basis, says SBP statement on Wednesday.
With the cumulative inflow of $ 12 billion from July to November 2022, the remittances decreased by 9.6 percent as compared to the same period last year.
The remittances inflows during November 2022 were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia ($498 million), the United Arab Emirates ($377.8 million), the United Kingdom ($299.1 million) and the United States of America ($229.4 million).
