Youm Ali (r.a) oberved amid tight security

LARKANA: Like other cities of Sindh, the Youm-e Ali (r.a) was observed with devotion and respect in Larkana on Monday.

On the occasion, 10 mourning processions were organized in different areas of Larkana district including 31 Majalis (Assemblies. Meanwhile, the central procession left Imam Bargah of the city Syed Bahadur Hussain Shah after noon prayers which passed through its traditional routes at the time of breaking the fast at the Pakistani Chowk.

After a comprehensive search of the mourners participating in the processions and majlis, they were allowed to participate in the imam bargahs and majlis. 800 police officers, personnel and Rangers personnel were assigned for the mourning processions and assemblies(Majalis) at that time.

Assistant Commissioner Raja Darya Khan Qureshi and DSP Zahoor Ahmed Soomro together visited Khachi Imam Bargah, Jarl Shah and other Imam Bargahs of the city and reviewed the security and other arrangements.

On the other hand, on the occasion of 21st of Ramadhan, the Larkan
a police have tightened the security arrangements in the entire district.
