Gujrat: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Social Services) Gujrat Farooq Azam chaired a meeting of the District Sports Committee and focal departments to review preparations for the CM Punjab Youth Games 2026.
According to an official source, the meeting reviewed arrangements for registration, coordination, and conduct of various sporting events. District Sports Officer Gujrat Chaudhry Raheel Bajwa and other officers attended the meeting.
The games will feature competitions for middle and high schools, colleges, universities and special persons, with participation from public and private institutions, non-formal schools, labour schools, special education institutions, seminaries and TEVTA.
The events will be held at participating institutions during October and November, while the registration process was underway.
Farooq Azam directed the departments concerned to ensure transparent and timely registration and make comprehensive arrangements for the smooth conduct of the games.
