Dera Ismail Khan: A 23 year old youth was killed on Friday in Tirgarh area in the limits of Paharpur police station.
According to the First information report (FIR) lodged at the Paharpur police station today on the complaint of the deceased’s uncle Mir Gul Gandapur, 42, son of Khan Muhammad Gandapur, that his 23-year-old nephew Ajab Khan was present in the shop of Afzal Khan in Tirgarh area within the jurisdiction of Paharpur police station. Due to unknown reason, the accused Afzal opened fire at Ajab Khan, killing him on the spot.
The reason for the enmity is not yet known while police registered the case. Investigations were underway to determine the motive behind the killing, the police official said.
