FAISALABAD: The Social Welfare Department on Wednesday rescued 14 beggars and handed them over to police.
According to official sources, the department caught the beggars from Hajiabad, Usman Town, Millat road, Sandal College, Bawa Chak, Sitara Chemicals Chowk, Allied Morrh and other roads.
Police have locked the beggars after registration of cases against them.
