MULTAN: An eight member All Pakistan Bed sheets & Upholstery Manufacturer Association (APBUMA) executive body elected unopposed for a period of two years here on Wednesday.
Six members had applied for general seats while two for Women’s reserved seats followed by invitation for nomination papers by Election Commission, said a news release issued here.
The EC verified applicants paper and found them correct.
Those who were elected from Multan included Syed Muhammad Asim Shah, Ghalib Haider Qureshi, Tanvir Ahmed Sheikh, Adeela Mudassar and Aqsa Asif while Arif Ihsan, Nabeel Saeed and Muhammad Khalid Naseem from Faisalabad for 2021-23.
In second phase election for Chairman, senior vice chairman and vice chairman will be held on December 25 and its formal announcement will be made in general body meeting to be held on Sept 30.
